Parasiticides are the first line of treatment and prevention of ectoparasitic infections and are among the most commonly prescribed medications in small animal practice. The future of ectoparasite control hinges on the responsible use of ectoparasiticides. In this session, I will discuss ways to improve knowledge, awareness, attitudes, and behaviours regarding the judicious usage of parasiticide.
